The Man's Bedroom

Are you still with us gentlemen? I hope so because the bedroom is a special room. It's the room of love. Let it exude sexiness, cleanliness, and class! It will pay off.

Clean and unclutter your bedroom. Make it as clean as a hotel room, but with your personality.

Don't do the laundry when she comes over. There are better things to do with her. Hide the piles of laundry in a classy laundry basket.

Make room for her extra outfit in your closet. She'll love you for your thoughtfulness.

Have matching bedroom furniture.

Get a real comfortable queen or king size bed. Keep the mattress off the floor.

If you have a new girlfriend, get new sheets. She's worth it. It's so classy.

Buy at least 3 sets of 200 thread count (the higher the thread count, the better) cotton sheets, preferably the new t-shirt jersey sheets with matching pillow cases for each new, stain free pillow.

Stay away from ground foam or feather pillows that may poke quills in her ears.

If you want her to sleep over, buy her a pillow of her choice, even if it's not your choice. She won't want to spend the night again if she wakes up with an aching neck.

Buy a pillow cover for each pillow and wash them often. Pillow covers are not pillow cases. They're like undershirts for pillows. They go under the case to protect them.

If the sheets are soiled, change them. Even if it means you just changed them yesterday.

Use a dust ruffle to cover your box spring. It's not aesthetically pleasing to have the box spring peeping out from under the mattress. If you buy a box spring cover you can use the space under the bed for hidden storage.

Use new candles with a new woman in your bedroom. If you light used candles, she'll wonder who used them before. Remember, she is the princess tonight. There should be no signs of other princesses before her.

Keep the window cracked open for air so the smoke alarm doesn't go off. That would be a real mood buster.

Have a pitcher of water and nice water glass available by your bedside. This is a nice touch for the thirsty. And it keeps her next to you, instead having to get up and leave in what might be a crucial point in occurrences.

Keep a small stereo in your bedroom with plenty of romantic CDs available. A great mood setter.

Shower before you go to bed with her. You will be smelling like she likes you.

Wear her favorite cologne to bed. It will help put her in the mood for love.

Get your own supply of condoms. Keep your new, unopened box of condoms in a secret place for the first time with a woman. You don't want to grab an opened box in your night stand. She wants to feel that she's the first in a very long time.

Buy non-alcohol baby wipes and put them in her night side table next to the bed for cleaning up after making love.

After lovemaking, don't hand her a cold wash cloth. Wash her with a soapy, warm, fresh wash cloth and a fresh dry hand towel. And wait a couple minutes before doing so. Hold her, kiss her, look into her eyes and really see her. Don't make her feel as though you have a schedule to keep. Besides, she might just be getting warmed up... and you thought you were done!

Buy Astroglide (a great sexual lubricant) for both of you. Vaseline and baby oil will destroy condoms.

Invest in an electric vibrator with variable speeds for mutual massages and orgasms. Don't try every technique you know in bed the first time. Save something for repeat performances.

If she won't make love, don't pout. It might mean the timing was wrong. Try earlier next time, when she has more energy. Try just holding her and let her know it's okay, and being close to her is the most important thing. As long as she's in your arms, give her a back rub. Your relaxing touch may change her mind.

I know this is a lot to remember and to put into action. You don't have to do everything all at once. Talk to her, and see what is important to her. Work on those items first. If it's the love of a woman you want, these are the shortcuts that will get you there!
