What Will I Receive
When I Enroll in DateSmart?

You will learn important dating skills with other participants. Everyone in the class is a qualified dating prospect. You will have a chance to "pre-date" everyone you want in class. You will have a chance to network for business purposes.

Eight weeks together is an ideal period of time to learn and digest the skills necessary to incorporate them permanently in your life.

With over 200 pages, the DateSmart manual describes every class. You don’t need to take notes if you don’t want to. It is already written for you.

You can concentrate on the instructor and class members. You can be an active participant instead of worrying that you will forget something. You can read ahead to prepare for the next class and if you missed a class, you can catch up so you don’t fall behind.

Should you miss a class, each session is recorded on CD live. You may borrow the session for review for $5, or keep the session for $20.

You will always be prepared on the phone or on the first four dates, conversation will flow easily and naturally. If you use the cards correctly, your date will feel as if he or she is in control of the questioning, giving him or her confidence and a feeling of ease.

You’ll never have to use a business card again when meeting others socially. these prewritten cards protect you from those who do not have honorable intentions. The personal card gives you words to say at the crucial moment of meeting and asking for a date and allows you to meet and set up a date immediately.

Allows you to keep your dates organized so not to confuse them. Use the profile card as a telephone screening device. Fill out a profile card for yourself and use it as your "Dating Resume".

Women: never nag a man again. Check off the points that apply to you and give him your personalized manual. He’ll never have to guess again.  Men: learn what women really want and expect from you but won’t tell you!

Gives you hundreds of questions to ask a date. Allows you to ask difficult questions that you want answers to and speeds up the ‘getting to know you’ process.

Review your first date strategies you learned at the introduction. Give to a friend (or date) so they too can be saved from the agony of traditional first date disasters.

Gives you step by step instructions in approaching and meeting people. Helps you approach others you find attractive and overcome rejection.

Events may include: dance lessons, boat rides, Reader events, dance parties, and other single’s events sponsored by San Diego single’s groups. Occasionally there is a minimum charge for admission to attend the functions.

Practice Dates

Practice dating with class members to be an expert at dating. We don’t guarantee that you will fall in love with a class member (even though it may happen), we give you an opportunity to practice dating skills.

You will receive written feedback from your date so you can receive input on your strengths & weaknesses as a date. You can become confident in dating and practice will make dating fun again.

We will eat at 6:00 p.m. in class each week. Each meal is catered and costs $6. During the meal, participants are paired to practice first date eating and dating etiquette. You will practice the art of asking and answering "predate" questions. Class members become very close having meals together, some fall in love.

Allows each participant to experience and solve a difficult dating situations before it happens to them in real life. Although some class members find this uncomfortable at first, role playing builds confidence, self-esteem and skills at a level of excellence that each participant would not otherwise be able to attain.

Meet past graduates from prior DateSmart classes, exchange personal cards, and phone numbers, network, and get lots of dates. We speed date with each other and connect.

Those who graduate can join the DateSmart Dating Club free of charge. Each DateSmart Graduate has a profile and picture in the DateSmart book. During the class, you may look through this profile book and choose with whom you would like to "predate".

Future and past graduates will search the DateSmart book for available people to date during and after the class. Everyone in the book knows the DateSmart guidelines and strategies so you will be dating someone with equal skills.

Some people travel great distances to attend the DateSmart Workshop. You may share rides to and from class with those who live near you. Not only do you save wear and tear on your automobile, you create a stronger relationship with members of the class.

Should you need to miss a class, you have one year from your enrollment date to make up the session in San Diego. There is no additional charge to make up a class. You may review the class you missed by reading the workbook.

Each class is audio and DVD's You may rent or buy the tapes to review the class or to view a class you missed. From out of town? You can receive the CD's of a live class for $199, or $299 for 8 DVD's.

We are confident you will be pleased with your personal results of the eight week DateSmart Workshop. Attend eight sessions at four hours each, and actively participate, read all materials given to you and do the homework assignments, and practice date at least 12 times during the eight weeks. At the end of the eighth class, you will be a Master Dater!  You will have confidence, self-esteem, have a tool belt of skills from which to draw on for any dating situation.

Twenty percent of graduates re-enroll at a later date and relive the DateSmart Experience to further fine tune their dating skills. The second time around is $25 per class (plus $6 for each meal) or $200 for the series.
